Signalment: 4 years old, Male, Domestic Shorthair
Presenting Complaint: A four year old domestic shorthaired cat presented to the emergency clinic for difficulty breathing.
Presenting History
On auscultation, he had a prominent grade 4/6 caudal sternal pansystolic murmur. His respiratory sounds were increased, but no crackles were heard.
His murmur was diagnosed 1 year previously, and he had been on aspirin as a thrombosis preventative.
