Signalment: 11 year old, MC, Golden Retriever
Presenting Complaint: Presented as an emergency consult.
Presenting History

His owners report that he has been depressed recently. On the 13th he was examined and found to be edematous and severely hyperemic. He was treated and improved. One week later he returned with reports of lethargy and a poor appetite. At this time he presented with edema, diffuse erythemia and a fever. While in hospital he began coughing. He soon became depressed and had irregular pulses.
